This role is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, delivering, servicing, and picking up rental medical equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, service-oriented, and eager to develop mechanical and troubleshooting skills while collaborating with multiple departments throughout the organization.

7:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Thursday through Sunday
(Four 10-hour shifts)

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

This role is 70% Equipment Processor and 30% Field Service Representative 

Will need to step in as Field Service Representative as needed

Equipment Processor duties include:

Sterilize and disinfect soiled medical equipment

Safely dilute and use cleaning solutions according to company procedures

Maintain a clean and organized processing area

Monitor and report cleaning supply inventory for reordering

Participate in a rotating schedule to clean and sanitize warehouse and office areas

Assist Field Service Representatives with unloading soiled equipment from company vehicles

Inspect equipment during the sterilization process and document any damages

Report infection control violations to management

Enter cleaning verification data using Microsoft Office programs

Utilize basic hand tools as needed

Troubleshoot air systems and identify possible air leaks during testing

Launder removable components of medical equipment

Safely move and transport heavy equipment

Field Service Representative duties (as needed):

Deliver, service, and pick up medical equipment from healthcare facilities

Prepare equipment for patient use through detailed maintenance, cleaning, disinfecting, and testing

Become proficient in testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating all Kreg Therapeutics products

Maintain company vehicles in a clean and orderly condition

Complete all daily reports accurately and on time

Build and maintain positive customer relationships

Complete customer orders within designated timeframes

Maintain communication with Central Dispatch regarding customer orders and scheduling

Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and in compliance with company driving standards

Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Stand and walk for the majority of each shift

Lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly

Safely load, secure, maneuver, and transport hospital beds on wheels weighing up to 1,000 lbs

Bend, kneel, stoop, or work from the floor as necessary to secure equipment during transport

Push, pull, turn, and stop the movement of heavy medical equipment throughout healthcare facilities up to 50lbs. 

Climb in and out of truck decks approximately two feet off the ground multiple times daily

Stand, kneel, and stoop for extended periods while cleaning and disinfecting equipment

Drive between 10-250 miles daily, as needed

Requirements

Valid driver's license

Reliable transportation

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Open availability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours as needed

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Strong communication and customer service skills

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Fluent in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Previous custodial, sterile processing, or medical equipment experience preferred, but not required
