Job description

Manager, Process Manager- Global Payment Network
The GPN Portfolio Team is responsible for bridging the gap between Product strategic visions and operational execution. Partnering with the Product Areas / Families, we help to translate their product roadmaps into realistic, forecasted portfolios that align with business priorities. We provide management, oversight and support to all Product Area members; collaborating across varying levels and roles to enable leadership to see progress, remove blockers and make decisions needed to deliver the most value to the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the business owner to build roadmaps through forecasting grounded in capacity planning, high-level estimates of work and target dates

  • Harmonize competing priorities into a single, unified and actionable path forward by working with multiple stakeholders.

  • Facilitate the intake process for new work entering the portfolio, ensuring the work is aligned to goals and has clearly defined scope and value.

  • Adhere to Enterprise & GPN governance during intake, ensuring strong risk management, operational excellence, and transparent decision-making

  • Provide portfolio metrics, providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision making.

  • Facilitate the prioritization of the Product Area / Family backlog in adherence to the GPN Portfolio Management standards.

  • Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Process management

  • At least 2 years of Jira experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Product, Business or Technical experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Process management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management


McLean, VA: $134,400 - $153,300 for Manager, Process Management


Richmond, VA: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management


Riverwoods, IL: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process Management








Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
