Job description

About the role:

Ownership and organization mean as much to you as they do to us. As a Processor, you will play an integral part in ensuring all loans are processed in a timely manner and adhere to our policy and procedures. You will manage a pipeline of transactions, owning many aspects of the transaction from application through funding, all while providing a world-class customer experience.

This is a hybrid position with a requirement of 3 full days in our Omaha, Nebraska office.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the operations team and with cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state mortgage lending regulations, including but not limited to RESPA, TRID, Reg B and Fair Lending.
  • Navigate our proprietary Equity Origination System.
  • Independently manage and monitor a loan pipeline from application through funding consistently meeting established service level agreements.
  • Review and verify loan documentation, including credit reports, income documents and property reports.
  • Collect, review and submit required documentation to clear conditions as required from the Underwriting team.
  • Partner with third party vendors to obtain required documentation, such as title reports, appraisals and home inspections.
  • Prepare and deliver disclosures and final loan documents keeping in compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to Unison product guidelines, requirements and fees.
  • Meet monthly goals for deals funded, turnaround times, and pull-through rates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 2+ years of work experience in a fast paced environment.
  • 2+ years years in the mortgage space, preferably as a processor or closer.
  • Excellenent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Experience with SalesForce, Google Suite, Microsoft Office or similar software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage regulations is preferred.
