SUMMARY
The HR Assistant is responsible for performing various clerical and administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources department. This is a seasonal position starting around the month of September and ending around April.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
  • Assist employees and management with frequently asked HR related questions or needs; refers more complex or employee relations related questions to HR Manager.
  • Provide clerical support to the HR department.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and hiring processes.
  • Assist with employee programs such as the wellness program and employee functions.
  • Assist with conducting compliance audits.
  • Issue employee uniforms, name tags, or other items, as needed.
  • Assist HR Generalist with employee transportation.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
  • Provide other administrative support, as needed.
  • Perform other related duties, as required.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
  • Passionate about Bogus Basin's Mission.
  • Experience in a Human Resources role, preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Canva.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, a professional demeanor, and to represent the organization in a positive manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Combination of indoor and outdoor alpine environment.
  • Occasionally exposed to inclement weather.
  • This position is an on mountain position and is required to work at the Bogus Basin Creek Lodge Monday through Friday.
