Job description

Summary/Objective

The Loan Processor Assistant is responsible for assisting the Homeowner services team meet their housing goals. Administrative responsibilities include processing homeowner applications, input of applicant and homebuyer tracking data, report generation and mortgage processing.

Essential Functions

  • Assist Homeowner Services staff with daily responsibilities, including document collection, closings, and interaction with homeowner applicants.
  • Maintain open communication with members of the department as to the status of the applications, and any other required parties to the transaction process.
  • Assist in obtaining updated financial statements, credit reports, and other financial information to maintain the applicant file.
  • Assembling the packages of escrow paperwork, documents, and forms.
  • Maintain official records and documents, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the industry.
  • Maintain confidentiality of homeowner and applicant information as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Gathers information from the applicant and creates a homeowner file containing personal and financial information.
  • Maintaining all client communications in company HomeKeeper accurately and timely.
  • Update HomeKeeper client file with all changes throughout relationship.
  • Maintain and monitor foreclosure files.
  • Performs other duties as required.
