Loan Administrative Assistant/Processor

Norman, OK

Loan Administrative Assistants/Processors act as a support to multiple loan officers and also assist other loan personnel that produce consumer, construction, commercial, agriculture, commercial real estate and residential real estate loans. Performs various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our customers and development of new business through the application and closing process. Extensive contact with customers and the public, both in person and on the phone.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Produce all commercial loan documents, as well as some consumer real estate and non-real estate loans, in accordance with Compliance Regulations, Loan Policy, and Loan Procedures

Assist and support lending staff with daily responsibilities, including overdraft review, deposit transfers for customers, loan payments, loan advances, document exception reports, and Coming Due/Past Due reports.

Maintain open communication with members of the loan department as to the status of the loan, and any other required parties, to the loan transaction.

Order preliminary title policy, UCC searches, Flood Certificates, environmental reports, and other related data. Coordinate with loan officer regarding issues with the policy, UCC searches, and other credit related reports.

Review closing documents against Credit Memo prior to loan funding and ensures all pending/exception items are properly documented. Assist with execution of loan documents.

Assists in exception processing, including Insurance requirements, updated financial statements, credit reports, rent rolls, and other financial information to maintain the servicing file. Documentation requirements for new loan processing and exceptions on coming due or past due.

Decision Pro processing, including enter loan information into Decision PRO, working the tracking list and attaching required documents for loan processing.

Record minutes of loan committee meetings

Prepare various monthly reports

Perform other job related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Proficient knowledge of BancFirst Loan Policy and Procedures, the Uniform Commercial Code, Business Law, Real Estate Law, and Federal Compliance Regulations, the training for which will be provided by BancFirst

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word

Knowledge of Decision Pro

Knowledge of loan process and loan documentation

Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines

Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude

Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor at all times

Able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing

Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks

Critical thinking skills

Excellent work ethic

Must be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the department

Attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job
