Description

Job Duties:

  • Support HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, while ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with company procedures.
  • Maintain and update HR databases and employee records.
  • Support the payroll process by verifying timesheets, employee data, and payroll-related documentation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with related inquiries.
  • Support the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare and analyze HR-related reports, including headcount reports, accrual distribution reports, organizational charts, and subsidiary staff lists
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and company events
  • Support business visa application preparation as needed
  • Perform ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant Human Resources experience
  • Good knowledge of BC Employment Standards
  • Previous experience with payroll processing and HRIS platforms such as ADP, UKG, ApplicantStack
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/ or Mandarin)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
