Position Summary

The Deposit Account Services and Governance Manager oversees the operational functions of the Deposit Account Services and Governance department to ensure efficiency, compliance, and service excellence. The manager is responsible for training, coaching, development, engagement, and directing the team to ensure the department runs professionally and efficiently. The position collaborates with cross functional teams to support strategic initiatives and drive operational success while providing exceptional customer service. The Manager is also responsible for the full process management of specialty products and services assigned to the group. This role, while managing the day-to-day processes, will assist all managers within the Enterprise Deposit Service Support organization with projects and process improvements.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage all customer information file (CIF) maintenance and related core system updates to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational integrity.
  • Oversee specialty product administration, including account settlement, adjustments, DACA processing, officer coding, interest rate maintenance, and product changes.
  • Maintain accountability for data quality and completeness across deposit account documentation and client agreements.
  • Serve as the control point for deposit documentation accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with internal policy.
  • Partner with Treasury to ensure accurate interest rate program administration, including updates and monitoring for accuracy.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs related to accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Retail Administration, Commercial Support, Treasury, and Customer Care to ensure consistent execution of deposit account servicing and client information updates.
  • Support enterprise deposit services managers on strategic initiatives, projects, and process improvements.
  • Recruit, train, and develop specialists within the Deposit Account Services & Governance functions.
  • Conduct regular performance coaching and reviews, ensuring team engagement, productivity, and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Build succession planning and career development opportunities within the team.
Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to:

  • Perform duties and decision making under frequent time pressures.

Education and Training:

  • Requires a college degree preferably in a business or finance field of study or 5 or more years of financial services industry experience, preferably in retail banking, accounting or deposit operations.
  • Requires 3 or more years of previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Related banking or accounting experience preferred.
  • Analytical experience and capabilities are required

Compensation and Benefits

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $63,000-$88,000/year)
