Job description

The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.

We are seeking a Drafter for County Prestress and Precast at our Astatula, FL location.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare design and production drawings, details and sketches and routine layouts
  • Use of computer-aided estimate program to assist in preparing quotations finalizing all drawings
  • Coordinate, review and approve shop drawings with customers
  • Distribute shop drawings to production

Work Environment:

  • Office working environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting frequently
  • Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds rarely
  • Standing / Walking / Climbing

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in design/drafting or two years of design/drafting experience.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit (3-5+ yrs modeling) and Autocad
  • Pro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player and positive attitude is a must.
  • Precast experience preferred but not required.
  • General knowledge of building construction
