Job description

Processing Operator – Food Manufacturing (Night Shift)

Location: Sturgis, MI 49091
Pay: $19.62/hour
Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a Processing Operator to support the manufacturing of liquid pediatric and medical nutrition products. This role involves operating computer-controlled production systems, handling raw ingredients, monitoring manufacturing processes, and maintaining quality and GMP standards.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor computer-controlled blending, weighing, and processing systems

  • Weigh, stage, and handle raw ingredients for batch production

  • Perform and monitor heat treatment and Clean-In-Place (CIP) processes

  • Complete accurate production documentation and data entry

  • Maintain GMP standards through equipment and work area cleaning

  • Transport raw materials and support manufacturing operations

  • Follow work instructions and safety procedures

  • Assist with additional duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous food manufacturing or batch processing experience preferred

  • GMP experience strongly preferred

  • Basic computer, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to lift and handle materials as needed
