Overview

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients, ensuring a friendly and efficient check-in process

Assist with scheduling appointments and answer phones to support clinic operations

Take vital signs and document patient information accurately

Draw blood and perform phlebotomy procedures in accordance with clinical protocols

Administer vaccines and assist with immunizations as needed

Provide clinical support including preparation of patients and ensuring a clean and organized environment

Maintain a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care

Required Skills

Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (including externship)

Strong computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members

Attention to detail in clinical documentation and procedures

Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required

Additional Skills & Requirements

Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

Occupational health experience is highly desirable

Must be comfortable working with patients ages 6 and older

Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
