We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our thriving community and the Construction/Project Management team at Dream is looking to hire an Intern, Construction for 8 months, starting in September 2026.

What will you do?

You will work under the direction of a Project Manager. The tasks you may be assigned will vary depending on the project and your personal level of initiative, but here are some examples of the things you could be working on:

  • Construction estimating and product researching;
  • Document control;
  • Project scheduling and monitoring;
  • Scope definition, tendering work, and preparing bid analyses;
  • Attend site meetings, document progress, review deliverables, taking minutes, follow up with trades and consultants;
  • You will be interacting with consultants, construction managers, and property managers, trades and contractors;
  • You will assist with closeout of projects; and
  • Administration and other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

What type of experience and skills do you have?

In addition to your collaborative mindset, positive attitude and excellent Microsoft Office skills:

  • You must be currently enrolled in one of the following programs: Project Management, an undergraduate Architecture program, or Engineering/Engineering Technology;
  • Having knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Project is considered an asset; and
  • This position will be of interest to a student who sees their career path leading to Project Management, with the goal of ultimately managing a team of design and construction professionals.

We will offer you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced corporate environment in multiple Commercial Buildings. You will gain insight into the design and construction of both new and older office buildings in the downtown Toronto. You will be exposed to highly experienced design and construction teams and will have an opportunity to observe and learn from the best.
