Role Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor will train and coach production employees in creating and sustaining a lean culture aligned with the company's Vision, Mission and Values. By utilizing key leadership principles of respect, humility, and leading by example, the supervisor will create a positive work environment by engaging employees in the continuous improvement of Safety, Quality, Delivery and People initiatives.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Team. This is a full-time, exempt position, located in our Mentor, Ohio office. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Including, but not limited to these functionalities:
  • Coordinate general assembly, wiring, finishing, and quality activities to meet delivery deadline
  • Reward or discipline team members as needed
  • Document and communicate quality issues found during manufacturing processes
  • Work with Team members from various departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Work closely with Materials, Quality, and Management to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High School/GED diploma required.
    • Associates degree or equivalent in Electronics, course certification in Electronics, Military related electronics training is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 years of testing equipment experience without continued education background.
    • 2 or more years of experience with the use of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, calibrators, etc.)
    • 2 years minimum in a leadership role
    • Familiarity with power electronics is a plus.
    • Ability to setup and/or program test equipment.
    • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and interpret other technical documentation.
    • Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital electronic circuits to the component level.
    • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
    • Experience in project management and process improvement.

  • Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)
  • CSI
  • UKG
  • Various proprietary test programs and utilities.

Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Requires working closely with production and engineering teams on-site.
  • Occasional travel may be required to supplier or customer sites.

Compensation and Benefits
This position is full-time, salaried, exempt. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Compensation typically follows industry median for Northeast Ohio/the Great Lakes region.
