Description

We are seeking a Process Technician looking to grow with us! You will work within a team to ensure various machines successfully complete key processes and produce high quality parts. You would be primarily working with injection molding machines at our facility in Salt Lake City.

Your Schedule

3rd Shift: Monday Through Friday 10 PM to 6:30 AM, $2.50 an hour shift differential

Responsibilities Include:

  • Follow all safety requirements, policies, and takes action to correct issues when found
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all items related to the molding process and supporting equipment
  • General maintenance duties relating to the manufacturing plant
  • Support preventative maintenance initiatives and daily repair of auxiliary and molding equipment
  • Function effectively in a team environment
  • Startup and shutdown of all production equipment and systems
  • Utilize scientific molding principals to create and document molding parameters
  • Identify and diagnose injection molding defects and make adjustments
  • Develop improvements to the molding process and tooling performance
  • Assists with mold changes and insert changes per the production schedule
  • Work with team members and supporting departments such as process technicians, tooling, production, and supervisors
  • Support production and follow all company policies relating to safety, quality, and ISO

We Seek the Following:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing facility maintenance, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment, etc.
  • 2 years of experience with injection molding
  • Knowledge of chilled water system
  • Experience with lathes, grinders, micrometers, and calipers and most hand tools and hand power tools
  • Electrical knowledge in control circuits
  • Forklift Certification (willing to certify)
  • Good communication skills
