Job description

LA PLAGE WESTPORT IS SEEKING SERVERS & BARTENDERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM!
The Server is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals accurately, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Servers maintain a professional appearance, demonstrate product knowledge, and work collaboratively with the restaurant team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests promptly and courteously.
  • Present menus and answer questions regarding food and beverage offerings.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
  • Process guest payments accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications:
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Availability to work day shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking experienced servers & bartenders with year-round availability, in either part-time or full-time capacities. The right candidates have a passion for food & beverage and creating a seamless guest experience. He/she has strong food knowledge. Prior restaurant experience required, preferably 1-3 years in a fast-paced environment. Wine knowledge is a plus and strongly preferred.
