The essential functions of a SERVER include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Warmly greet guests, creating a welcoming guest experience
  • Maintain complete knowledge of restaurant's food and beverage preparation
  • Sell alcohol and food items
  • Share menu knowledge by making menu recommendations and answering questions about food allergies and ingredients
  • Enter and complete customers' orders on computer system; accept different types of payment and make change
  • Actively listen with a friendly demeanor during guest interactions to anticipate needs
  • Deliver food and drinks with speed and a sense of urgency
  • Fill and refill beverages, clear tables, and manage multiple tables
  • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
  • Dedication to becoming a "seller" and not an "order taker".
  • Demonstrate ownership of sidework and closing tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Clear and reset tables as needed.
  • Follow instructions, procedures, and alcohol service guidelines
  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy
  • Guide guests in beer and spirit selections while demonstrating strong wine knowledge
  • Perform other duties as directed

Requirements:
A Server should possess the following Qualifications & Experience:
  • Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better
  • Experience with payment processing and basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
  • Passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and teamwork
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, continuously bend, reach and twist
  • Must be at least 18 years old
