PSI Pax Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator Intermediate/ Journeyman to support our government customer located in Patuxent River, MD.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
  • Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
  • Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
  • Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
  • Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
  • May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum: Top Secret Clearance.
  • Expected: Top Secret - SCI eligible- Full Performance Level Security Clearance.
  • Certifications including: Windows Admin, vmWare Admin, Active Directory, or ACAS
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.
  • Experience Requirements: More than 3 years of experience performing work related to the LCAT functional description. Meets the identified military equivalent on the job training (OJT) requirement.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Discipline is preferred.
