ProVest LLC is seeking a Process Server to provide reliable and professional civil process service in Allegany, MD and surrounding areas. 

Location Requirement:
Applicants must reside in or currently serve within a 45-mile radius of Allegany, MD. Including cities:

Cumberland 

Frostburg 

Westernport 

Lonaconing

Position Overview

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, with weekly compensation based on completed jobs. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals with experience and judged signed court appointments in legal document delivery.

Ideal candidates include:

  • Experienced Process Servers 
  • Licensed Private Investigators
  • Current or Former Law Enforcement Professionals
  • Paralegals

Key Responsibilities

  • Make diligent service attempts:
  • Up to 3 attempts (varied times: morning, evening, weekend, etc.)
  • Activate cases within 24 hours of receiving documents (via FedEx or email)
  • Sign and notarize all eligible affidavits within 48 hours of service completion
  • Utilize ProVest's mobile applications to:
    • Upload photo evidence of addresses
    • Submit detailed attempt notes
    • Record service or non-service outcomes

  • Smartphone with ability to run mobile applications
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
