Description

Salt + Marrow Kitchen, located within Crowne Plaza North Augusta, is seeking a professional, energetic, and guest-focused PM Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This individual will play a key role in delivering elevated dining experiences for both hotel guests and local patrons within a fast-paced full-service restaurant environment.


The PM Server is responsible for providing attentive and efficient evening food and beverage service while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards, guest engagement, and overall restaurant presentation. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals accurately and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness within the dining area, processing payments, and ensuring guests receive a welcoming and memorable dining experience from start to finish.


The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive within a team-oriented hospitality environment while maintaining professionalism and urgency during high-volume service periods. Prior restaurant or hotel food and beverage experience is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

  • Serve food and drinks in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

  • Use proper verbiage and etiquette, including serving ladies first.
  • Write the order in an order notebook. Repeat the order back to guests for clarity.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and service bar utilizing the point-of-sale system.
  • Observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when the meal has been completed for guest checkout.
  • Total the bill and accept payment or refer the guest to the cashier.
  • Ladle soup, portion pies and desserts, and brew coffee.
  • Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
  • Use proper etiquette guidelines for seating guests.
  • Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
  • Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
  • Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.

  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
