Standard Job Description You will be the Reliability Engineer for the Reliability Engineering team which is responsible for developing and executing reliability studies, analyses, and improvement programs that ensure highperformance, dependable systems. What You Will Be Doing As the Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for leading technical reliability initiatives, defining statistical controls, and delivering actionable improvements to product and process reliability. Your responsibilities will include: Develop, coordinate, and conduct reliability studies and designofexperiments (DOE) to evaluate engineering concepts and identify failure mechanisms.

Recommend design, test methods, and statistical processcontrol procedures that meet required reliability targets. Compile and analyze performance reports and processcontrol statistics, investigating variables that affect product and process reliability. Create and manage reliability engineering programs that align with company, customer, and government reliability objectives, proposing design or formulation changes when needed.

Serve as subjectmatter expert for preventive, predictive, and conditionbased maintenance technologies, supporting facility uptime and Plant Engineering knowledge development. Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (doe) constructs. Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.

Compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Analyzes preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives.

May develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks. As necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability. May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing, and specifies minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.

Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Basic Qualifications Project management experience Scheduling and planning experience Knowledge of reducing unscheduled equipment downtime across critical assets, preserving production capacity and protecting capital investments. Ability to generate incremental productivity gains for Plant Engineering through data driven PM optimization and rapid fault isolation.

Desired Skills Expertise in tracking critical systems unscheduled maintenance downtime. Facilitate Root Cause Analysis events, documenting actions and driving process improvements. Experience in direct cost avoidance by intercepting equipment failures prior to occurrence.

Subject Matter Expert in preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance methodologies.
