Construction Project Manager – Drive Financial Performance and Operational Excellence

Job Overview:

The Opportunity: You will take full ownership of high-stakes projects from preconstruction through closeout, acting as the primary driver of project profitability and schedule adherence. This role is designed for a leader who understands that meticulous attention to detail and rigorous follow-through are the foundations of successful construction management.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Lead construction projects from kickoff to completion by maintaining total accountability for budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
  • Monitor project cash flow and financial forecasting to ensure every build aligns with the company's fiscal health and project goals.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of RFIs, submittals, and change orders to prevent scope creep and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Manage subcontractors and internal divisions to ensure all teams are aligned with Sentry’s process-oriented delivery standards.
  • Facilitate clear communication between clients, field teams, and stakeholders to proactively resolve issues before they impact the timeline.
  • Partner with Superintendents to verify that field execution matches architectural intent and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, and comprehensive cost control.
  • Proven ability to hold yourself and external partners accountable for deadlines and quality standards.
  • Deep knowledge of how project management decisions directly impact company cash flow and financial stability.
  • Field experience or a very strong technical understanding of on-site construction requirements.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience specifically in construction project management.
  • Demonstrated success managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software platforms.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
