Job description

About First Fertility

At First Fertility, we are driven by our vision, mission, and values to exceed expectations throughout every patient’s experience. We partner with the best fertility clinics across the country — clinics that share our standards of care, prioritize patient outcomes, and are committed to finding the right path to parenthood for every individual and family we serve.

The Role

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) oversees all aspects of the revenue cycle process, including claims management, authorization workflows, and document management. The role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that prioritizes a customer-centric approach to revenue cycle operations, ensuring both strategic and financial success. The Director models First Fertility’s core values: Patient-First Care, Make a Difference, Embrace Everyone, Lead With Integrity, and a Culture of Curiosity — while fostering strong relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize revenue cycle operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a collaborative team culture.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing revenue cycle team, establishing systems for performance management, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Revenue Cycle Operations & Optimization

  • Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle functions including billing, coding, claims processing, collections, and payer relations.
  • Track key performance metrics, implement data-driven process improvements, and manage payer relationships to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.

Claims & Compliance

  • Oversee held claims resolution, denial follow-ups, and authorization workflows in coordination with Clinical, Scheduling, and Medical Records teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, state-specific regulations, and HIPAA requirements; conduct revenue cycle investigations to resolve operational barriers and manage aged accounts.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years of revenue cycle experience (fertility healthcare billing preferred), with at least 3 years in a director-level role overseeing a large remote, in-house, and offshore team.
  • Strong knowledge of billing and EMR systems, operating dashboards, medical terminology, payer regulations, and financial analysis within the fertility industry.
  • Proven people leader with experience developing billing teams and building inclusive, high-performing cultures.
Schedule

This is a fully remote, full-time position. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM EST.

Join Us

At First Fertility, you’ll be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families.
