Job Overview:
  • Location: Immerse yourself in our innovative culture! This role requires a commitment of 4 days in-office per week at our facility in Garden Grove, CA as well as full-time hours (40 hours a week).
  • Duration: 11-14 weeks (Sep 8 to Dec 11 OR Sep 21 to Dec 4)
  • Relocation Support: A $1,000 relocation stipend is available for interns currently residing more than 50 miles from Garden Grove, CA.
  • Compensation: Earn an hourly rate of $25-35 USD per hour.
Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an ambitious Cybersecurity Intern to support the protection of our enterprise IT systems, product development environments, and operational technology. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world security operations in a fast-growing automotive and manufacturing environment. The primary responsibilities for this position will be to contribute and learn about securing an enterprise environment. This role offers the opportunity to build valuable experience at a fast paced, high growth startup during a critical early product stage.

What You'll Do:
  • Monitor and respond to email security threats, including phishing, malware, and spam.
  • Monitor, analyze, and triage endpoint security detections using EDR and related tools.
  • Assist with incident investigation and escalation following established security procedures.
  • Document, maintain, and help develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical security processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of security monitoring, detection, and response workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT and Security teams to strengthen overall security posture.
Required Skills:
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology.
  • Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to clearly document technical processes and findings.
