The Opportunity


We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain & Materials Management to lead and optimize all aspects of our supply chain operations. This is a critical leadership role responsible for inventory strategy, procurement, supplier management, and warehouse operations—ensuring seamless support for production and after-sales service.


You will play a key role in driving cost efficiency, improving processes, and building a high-performing team while aligning supply chain strategy with company growth objectives.


What You’ll Do


Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Supply Chain Strategy

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure operational performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Customer Service

Supplier & Procurement Management

  • Oversee sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
  • Manage RFP processes and supplier performance evaluations
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic supplier relationships

Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency
  • Optimize inventory turnover and reduce waste
  • Implement continuous improvement methodologies across operations

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels and material availability
  • Improve inventory control systems and reporting
  • Manage obsolete, non-conforming, and warranty-related materials
  • Oversee warehouse operations and material flow throughout the plant


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management within manufacturing
  • 8+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, and Lean principles
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and strong Excel skills
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACGA) are an asset
  • French language proficiency (fluent) is required
