Key Accountabilities
  • Adhere to all MSHA regulatory and company standards
  • Must have a Safety-First mindset; leading the way to safe work environment.
  • Promote and assist in maintaining a positive work culture
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities
  • Plan and  direct daily operations including maintenance in collaboration with the Maintenance Superintendent and Operations Superintendent
  • Ensure cost effective metal recovery from available ore
  • Provide detailed reports on variances and quality issues
  • Coordinate asset management planning, shutdowns and preventative maintenance
  • Budget all projects and monitor costs during implementation
  • Maintain cost control and mill budget
  • Coordinate performance management and reviews
  • Interview, train and supervise personnel

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in mill operations / maintenance
  • Surface foreman certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred                     
  • Degree in Mining/ Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
  • SAP Experience
