Job Description:

The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes within the assigned area to ensure efficient and effective production operations. This role involves aligning with IWS team infrastructure, analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop expert level process knowledge of manufacturing operations
  • Proactively identify process constraints and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze data and apply problem-solving techniques to facilitate design improvements for processes, systems, and/or equipment.
  • Lead and facilitate actions to resolve equipment constraints and challenges as appropriate.
  • Provide technical on-floor support during equipment downtime and production issues.
  • Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support project FAT/SAT execution, commissioning and qualification.
  • Ensure proper documentation, backups, and change management processes.
  • Assist with capital and expense project planning, budgeting, and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Support Integrated Work Systems (IWS) and operational excellence initiatives.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of engineering technical support experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
  • Experience supporting high-speed automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in food, beverage or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
  • Experience with automated processing and packaging systems.
  • Knowledge of batch systems and process automation.
  • Experience with OEE and manufacturing data systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and machine safety standards.
