Join our water treatment team in Vancouver as a Junior Process Engineer, where you will contribute to a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects across industrial, mine water, and municipal environments. This opportunity offers exposure to office-based consulting engineering work, hybrid flexibility, and fieldwork opportunities, with new graduates encouraged to apply.

Your Impact

• Contribute to water and wastewater treatment projects spanning industrial, mine water, and municipal applications. 
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings that support project delivery.
• Support analysis and design activities including process and technology selection, equipment sizing and specification, process modeling, mass balance, hydraulic analysis, and 3D layout. 
• Participate in water-treatment projects from concept and feasibility through preliminary design, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, permitting, and operation phases.
• Coordinate with team members and equipment vendors, growing toward communication with clients and sub-contractors as experience develops. 
• Provide project support to intermediate and senior staff while building technical capability through ongoing learning and mentorship. 
• Balance multiple simultaneous projects while managing time to meet evolving project schedules.
• Engage in primarily office-based consulting engineering work, with occasional short-duration fieldwork, travel requirements, and potential opportunities for longer-duration field assignments.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, with graduate degrees considered an asset.
• Currently registered or eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng. with a Canadian Engineering Association, including EGBC.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant working experience since graduation, with relevant co-op experience considered an asset.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with French skills considered an asset.
• Strong organizational skills in both information management and time management.
• Experience in technical problem-solving using industry-standard commercial computer software. 
• Experience with, or aptitude for, business development and proposal writing.
• Valid driver's license, with field experience considered an asset.

Compensation:

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $73,400 - 97,200
MB & ON: $67,000 - 92,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $66,300 - 88,000
