Job description

Principal Process Manager, Cash Monitoring & Support (Work from Home)

The associate will be responsible for planning, organizing and exercising team and people leadership around the coordination of workflow and process management related activities in accordance with policies and procedures, while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency. This multifaceted job also involves leveraging a practical approach to problem solving, communication, quality and speed while utilizing multiple applications. This position requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and initiative to drive flawless results. The associate must display strong problem-solving techniques, possess integrity, and creative thinking while working in a collaborative environment. This role includes direct people leadership responsibilities, including coaching, developing, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Engineering - Create and/or validate processes and process flows associated with the team and support process improvement opportunities

  • Design and produce reports & metrics used to measure process efficiency and effectiveness

  • Lead team in practices, policies and methodologies related to its processes

  • Analyze and correct data issues with tools used or owned by department

  • Provide subject matter expertise on processes when representing the team in projects and other meetings with various LOBs and Third Party Vendors

  • Leverage a variety of cash tools and reports to proactively resolve issues and address complex problems, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes.

  • Provide back-up support for other ATM & Cash processes as needed

  • Understand upstream and downstream impacts in cash ecosystem

  • Provide people leadership by mentoring and developing team members, fostering a positive and collaborative environment, and supporting performance management activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite

  • At least 1 year of process management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of Cash Operations experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification

  • At least 2 years of experience in Process Management

Work from Home Technology Requirements:

  • Secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions

  • Reliable private internet connection that is not supplied via cellular data or hotspot is required

    • A private network that is password protected where you have ownership or line of site sight to every device on the network

    • Internet service must be provided by Cable or Fiber Internet Service Providers (ISP)

    • Hotspots and satellite services are prohibited and do not meet performance criteria required for optimal agent/customer interactions

    • Associates must maintain a minimum of 100 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload speed from their internet provider

    • To validate ISP speeds from a Chrome browser, go to www.google.com, type Speed Test and run from the Google landing page

  • Both Hardwire and WiFi internet connections are acceptable as long as speed and security requirements are met

Work from Home Location Requirements

This role is 100% work from home. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
