Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, hardworking professional who is experienced in the mining industry that will be responsible for the management and execution of a multitude of projects. These projects will include a mix of several different disciplines. You will be required to be professional and be able to establish a strong teamwork environment.
This is a salary position, and you will be reporting directly to the Yukon Regional Director of RAM Enterprise, Inc.
**This position requires you reside within 1 hour of Palmer, AK. Non-Alaska residents will not be considered.**
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
• Must have a proven record of a strong commitment to Safety.
• Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment, and materials.
• Develop annual budget including capital expenditures and sales forecasts, by customer, including an action plan for implementation.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with our customers.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and provide quotations to customers.
• Effectively manage multiple open quotations and bring them to order status.
• Ability to work with numerous contractors and subcontractors in an efficient manner.
• Follow the project timeline, and the given budget to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Coordinate the planning, setup, and execution of large and sometimes complex projects.
• Will lead and manage the on-site team and oversee all work on-site.
• Responsible for orderliness on site and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Resolve contract disputes and arrange any necessary order changes.
• Perform as a leader with team members which includes excellent leadership, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be an active listener, recognize diverse perspectives, and be capable of facilitating collaboration.
• Must be dedicated to supporting the team through mentoring, training, and succession-planning activities.
• Clearly understand company profit expectations and their impact on monthly financials.
• Other job duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
• 5+ years of on-the-job supervision experience in the industrial and mining industry.
• Must possess a current MSHA certification or have completed New Miner certification within the last two years.
• A valid driver's license is required upon hire and as a condition of continued employment.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft platforms, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
• Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with all personnel.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working on smartphones and tablets.
• Advanced understanding of MSHA and OSHA rules and regulations.
Criteria/Conditions:
• Ability to work in various industrial settings, including shop environment, mining environment, and construction environment, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles.
• Ability to safely lift 75-100 lbs. frequently, using proper lifting techniques.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear, and see.
