Job Overview:
The People Integration Manager is responsible for executing People integration programs, projects, and employee transition activities supporting acquisitions and organizational growth. This role coordinates the day-to-day delivery of integration plans, onboarding activities, stakeholder communications, workforce transition processes, and employee experience initiatives.
This role works closely with the VP, People M&A, AVP, People Integration Partners, People COEs, People Business Partners, and business leaders to ensure integration activities are delivered consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with established People integration frameworks.
The role may independently lead smaller acquisitions or employee onboarding initiatives and serves as a key project manager across larger acquisition integrations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Integration Program Execution
  • Execute People integration activities across acquisitions, including onboarding, employee transitions, communications, documentation, data validation, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate implementation of integration plans and support successful employee transitions into LPL.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and integration trackers for assigned acquisitions and initiatives.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate issues to integration leaders as needed.
  • Support due diligence preparation, data gathering, and integration readiness activities.

Employee Transition & Onboarding
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities for acquired employee populations and employee advisor teams.
  • Ensure employees receive timely communications, training, benefit information, system access, and onboarding resources.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for employees and leaders during onboarding and transition periods.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives throughout the integration process.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, People Operations, Compliance, Legal, and business partners to execute integration activities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, document action items, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate dependencies between People workstreams and broader acquisition activities.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain integration dashboards, trackers, and project documentation.
  • Analyze onboarding, transition, and employee experience metrics.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and employee satisfaction.
  • Support development and maintenance of People integration playbooks, tools, templates, and standard operating procedures.

Project Leadership
  • Lead People integration efforts for smaller acquisitions and employee onboarding initiatives.
  • Manage assigned projects independently while escalating strategic decisions and complex risks appropriately.
  • Support change management and communication activities associated with integration programs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources, Employee Onboarding, or People Integration Activities.
  • Project Management Experience.

Core Competencies:
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and managing competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of HR processes including onboarding, employee transitions, payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and HR operations.
  • Proficiency with Workday, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, and related workflow tools.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.

  • Experience in financial services, acquisitions, or organizational integration

Pay Range:
$78,177.00 - $130,295.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
