The Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC)within Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking Process Engineering Manager to join our team at the Space Park Foundry (SPF) in Manhattan Beach, CA.

At SPF we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for both internal and commercial customers, as well as for emerging technology programs. Our Space Park semiconductor foundry supports various production microelectronics technologies, including Gallium Arsenide, Indium Phosphide, Silicon Carbide, and Gallium Nitride. Additionally, we drive cutting-edge technology development in areas such as 3D Heterogeneous Integration, semiconductor materials, manufacturing processes, and advanced transistors.

These advanced technological capabilities are crucial performance differentiators for many of Northrop Grumman's ground, avionic, and space systems. As a Process Engineering Manager, you will be leading and supporting the Semiconductor Process Department and will be reporting to the Manager of the Semiconductor Process Department. In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to: Provide leadership and direction to process engineers to execute engineer tasks Manage employee performance (including engagement strategies for both higher and lower performers) Act as the first point of contact for technical issues and will make decisions to ensure the quality and schedule of programs Participate in recruiting and hiring, day to day support for engineering team Provide inputs and make decisions on capital budget Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 8 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in STEM with 6 years of relevant experience.

Experience with Semiconductor process manufacturing in the lab. Direct experience on the semiconductor processes on GaAs/InP/GaN wafers. Prior experience leading or managing a team of minimum 8-10 people.

US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing teams including setting up the goals and end year performance assessment.

Experience on semiconductor process to trouble shotting on process issues and develop new process for new technologies Experience of working with other section heads to improve production efficiency and will lead the team to achieve the affordability goal Experience with training process engineers to document processes, implement processes, and train the technicians Experience working on the following technologies: GaAs HEMT/HBT, InP HEMT and TF2/TF4, and GaN HEMT technologies. Primary Level Salary Range: $161,100.00 - $241,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
