As a Process Technician, you will keep PPAP-approved injection molding processes stable and repeatable on the production floor, using disciplined process control to protect quality, cycle time, and scrap goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Observe and sustain established processes; complete Daily Process Monitors
- Troubleshoot at the press for part quality, equipment/auxiliary equipment, and process issues
- Verify startup quality with Set-up Technicians, Quality Inspectors, and Shift Supervisors
- Write clear Tooling Work Orders for molds that require maintenance or repair
- Support Set-up Technicians and Material Handlers; assist Process Engineers with time/cost reduction work
- Follow all health and safety requirements and participate in team meetings
Required qualifications/skills:
- 5+ years of plastics injection molding experience
- 5+ years of processing experience
- 5+ years of mold setting experience
