Registered Behavior Technician (Sign-on Bonus $500)

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

About us:

Know Boundaries is a clinician-owned practice currently providing services in Nashville, TN, and the surrounding areas of Middle Tennessee. Our mission is to not only provide exceptional services and endless opportunities for our clients, but our fellow clinicians as well. With the help of our behavior analysts and behavior technicians, we offer specialized behavior therapy services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Requirements:

Complete 40+ hours of training in order to receive the Registered Behavior Technician Certification. This certification would be required to provide services to our clients. We can support and provide information on how to receive the certification if an offer is extended. Set up an interview for more details.

Provide a consistent schedule that you are available to provide therapy services.


About the Position:

Come work in a fun and supportive environment! Behavior Technicians work under the supervision and direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You will work closely with families, clients, and staff to improve the lives of our clients and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate understanding of basic ABA principles and terminology (post-training).
  • Implement intervention as determined by supervising BCBA.
  • Collect ongoing and detailed data.
  • Follow Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and all other programming put in place by the BCBA.
  • Uphold and follow the company's policies and procedures
  • Be familiar with and maintain compliance with BACB Ethical Code
  • Communicate regularly with team members, including other therapists and BCBAs assigned to client(s).
  • Maintain consistent communication with families/caregivers while maintaining ethical boundaries.
  • Provide services in home, daycare, school, community, or clinic settings.
  • Comply with all HIPAA regulations and practice ethical billing.
  • Utilize an online scheduling and data collection platform.
  • Check email regularly and respond in a timely manner.
  • Attend all required meetings and training.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Maintain reliable transportation and insurance.
  • Must have basic technology skills with the ability to locate a network to connect to wifi, operate a tablet such as an iPad, join virtual meetings, log in to applications and software systems, download & log in to apps, send and receive email messages, attach files, use a word processor, access Google Drive files, and navigate the internet.
  • Able to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Able to perform activities that entail fine & gross motor skills, bending knees, squatting, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time
  • Ability to respond swiftly & engage in rapid movement to ensure the safety and supervision of individuals, including brisk walking or running when necessary.
  • Preferred experience working with children and individuals with disabilities.
  • High school diploma, bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
