Job Description
Primary Duties:
• Engineer new product designs including application of GD&T
• Create manufacturing process including equipment, tools, and fixtures
• Lead product innovation projects from concept through specified Gate Reviews
• Complete product feasibility reviews
• Process Engineering Change Requests and supporting documentation
• Direct CAD resources for product and tooling design work
• Create and document engineering guidelines and lessons learned
• Create APQP documentation including Process Flows, FMEAs, etc.
• Oversee build events prior to PPAP to validate product design, manufacturing process, fixtures, tools, and equipment
• Review customer technical specifications to ensure compliance
• Interpret and utilize statistical methods to improve products and processes
Qualifications
• Knowledge of APQP and related documentation
• Knowledge of product design and ability to interpret and apply GD&T
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly fixtures, and equipment
• Knowledge of standard shop processes
• Knowledge of ISO/TS
