Job SummaryThe Systems Engineering Intern will support the Integration Services team in configuring, testing, and validating customer hardware and software environments. This internship offers hands-on experience with enterprise systems, scripting, and infrastructure automation. Interns will collaborate with engineering and IT teams to assist in system builds, troubleshoot performance issues, and contribute to process documentation. This role is ideal for students seeking exposure to real-world data center operations, automation, and cross-functional engineering workflows.

Role Description

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Assistin installing and configuring operating systems and application software for customer orders

  • Support the setup of VPNs and infrastructure in collaboration with IT and security teams, as and when needed.

  • Monitor and test application performance under supervision

  • Helpmaintaincustomer-owned equipment in secure environmentsContribute to development and testing of automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python)

  • Participate in validation and troubleshooting of firmware and device drivers

  • Shadow senior engineers during Linux server, switch, storage, orfirewallconfiguration and deployment

  • Document procedures and findings to support operational efficiency

  • Engage in team meetings and cross-functional coordination with QC and Project Management

  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies relevant to data center engineering
