      \n CNC Machinists are required to perform some or all the following duties:

      • CNC Programming - Gibbs Cam Software and G code knowledge are assets.<\/span>
        <\/li>\n
      • CNC & Manual Machining - Set\-Up & Production - Lathes & Mills.
        <\/span><\/li>\n
      • Working Knowledge of Tool Holders, Cutting Tools, Boring Bars, Fixtures, Inserts, and Other Machine Accessories and Components Including Precision Measuring Instruments.
        <\/li>\n
      • Repair Machine Tools and Parts.
        <\/li>\n
      • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings, 3D Models, Charts, and Tables.
        <\/li>\n
      • Hand skills to fit and assemble Components and Machine Parts to Close Tolerances.
        <\/li>\n
      • Operate machine tools such as lathes, and milling machines to produce metal parts.
        <\/li>\n
      • Work with various materials i.e., steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, and other materials.
        <\/li>\n
      • Select appropriate cutting tools, cutting speed, & feed rate for required operations.
        <\/li>\n
      • Plan job operation sequence.
        <\/li>\n
      • Able to work accurately, routinely holding .0005" tolerances, and verify accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.

      • Produce production runs and\/or single parts.
        <\/li>\n
      • Able to make minor edits to programs to improve efficiency and quality.
