SUMMARY OF POSITION
Learns and applies organizational processes while developing the ability to break down tooling and understand manufacturing workflows. Supports the team with process-related tasks to build foundational knowledge, technical skills, and practical experience needed for progression within the role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create material cut list for saw operations.
  • Read and comprehend prints.
  • Order raw material and commercial components.
  • Create work orders for processes (Saw, Weld, Machine, etc)
  • Analyze CAD data (CATIA, IGS, STP, DXF, etc)
  • Track material/component delivery status

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of progressive responsibility in operations/manufacturing.
  • Experience demonstrating problem solving abilities and resourcefulness.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Highly proficient computer skills
  • CATIA/CAD experience and/or training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interpret blueprints
  • Basic understanding of standard build principles and practices
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing practices including welding, machining, bonding and fastening.
  • Familiar with manufacturing shop and shop environment and able to communicate and work with a direct work force at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T
  • A demonstrated capability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Excellent planning / organizational skills
  • Self-starter and highly motivated
  • Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study
