Job description

Shift: 2nd Shift / 3:30pm-1:00am with alternating Fridays

+15% shift differential

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor equipment such as air scrubbers, wastewater treatment plant, chemical tanks, and monorail overhead cranes.
  • Control process variables (temperature, pressure, flow rates) using computer systems or control panels
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Record production data and maintain logs
  • Take samples and perform basic quality checks
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for repairs or improvements
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
  • Load and unload parts into processing racks.
  • Ensure etching processes meet specifications for precision and uniformity
  • Record process data and maintain detailed production logs
  • Follow strict chemical room protocols and contamination control procedures
  • Troubleshoot process equipment alarms
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve yield and efficiency
  • Adhere to safety procedures when handling chemicals and wearing PPE.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year strong aerospace manufacturing background
  • Acid etch and passivation experience
  • Ability to utilize hand sheers, fume hood extractor, dimensional measuring, analytical lab equipment and scales.
  • Schedule and organize time and tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.
  • Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
