Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Process Design Specialist to join our growing Process team in Vancouver, BC.

Reporting to the Manager of Process the Process Design Specialist is responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant process design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures. The tasks you'll perform Manage multiple tasks and prioritise where necessary to achieve agreed deliverables to a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Assist with process design including, but not limited to, mass balances, flowsheets, P&IDs, design criteria, operating costs and control philosophy.

Prepare the process components of projects and studies and ensure they are correct and thorough. Assist with metallurgical test work programs and interpret metallurgical test work data. Advise the Project / Study Manager immediately on matters that negatively affect project / study goals.

Work in conjunction with a range of internal and external stakeholders to meet project / study design work criteria and deliverables. Ensure all relevant stakeholders are notified immediately of any risk or changes to Process deliverables. Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance to the Company approved procedures.

Assist with commissioning activities, if required. Proactively support other team members as required to ensure Project / Study deliverables are met. The expertise you'll bring University Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

3+ years post graduate experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units.

Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers. Proactively seek and accept guidance and feedback provided by subject matter experts. Driven and determined to achieve objectives through continued professional development.

Good organisational and time management skills Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment. Relevant technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills. This range is based on the role's job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting.
