Collette is seeking an Air Ticket/Quality Control Coordinator to join our Air Team. This is a hybrid role based at Headquarters in Pawtucket, RI.

Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring air reservations are booked accurately, meeting the expectation of the guests, and issuing airline tickets for all passengers that purchased air with Collette on all our tour programs.

Job Functions:

  • Perform a quality check on all air reservations 50 days prior to all tour departures to ensure everything meets the guests’ expectation and needs, along with tour restrictions.
  • Explore opportunities to increase profit margins prior to ticketing.
  • Issue all airline tickets for passengers that purchased air with Collette on all programs.
  • Ensuring that all passengers are paid in full prior to any tickets being issued.
  • Accurately calculate the cost of each ticket and build the pricing record into each PNR according to the rules of each airline contract.
  • Accurately enter all information required per the contract on each ticket issued in accordance to each airline’s fare rules and contract.
  • Report any issues where margins fall short of expectation with your direct supervisor, prior to the issuance of the airline ticket.
  • Authorize e-ticket receipts prior to document release.
  • Ensure all air reservations are issued prior to ticket time limits set by each carrier by working all GDS queues daily.
  • Authorize any early document request from the call center and track request to ensure tickets are issued in time to meet the customer’s request.
  • Follow all rules according to ARC/BSP handbooks in regard to issuing, voiding and exchanging airline tickets.
  • Process schedule changes, ensuring that protection set by carrier still meets tour restrictions and that seats requests are still honored. Make any adjustments when needed.
  • Assist with researching any debit memos on airline tickets issued.
  • Responsible for covering emergencies on pre-scheduled Saturdays/Holidays through out the year.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and neat work environment at all times.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Skill in customer service
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and encouraged.
  • Two years of experience desired that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Knowledge of air operations, quality control procedures and reporting documentation requirements.
  • Microsoft Office program experience
  • Ability to work as part of a Team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. .
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
  • Ability to plan and organize to optimize productivity
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned or directed by the Senior Director of Air Operations, Air Operations Supervisor or Airline Contracting and Pricing Manager.
  • Maintain assigned work area in a safe and orderly condition in accordance with company standards.
  • Comply with all company rules and regulations.
