Job description

  • We are hiring immediately for a full time QUALITY CONTROL COORDINATOR/CLEANROOM TECHNICIAN position.
  • Location: BMC Best Program - 88 East Newton Street, Boston, MA 02118. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time; days & hours may vary, but schedule can be flexible! More details upon interview. 
  • Requirement: Prior quality control experience is required. 
  • Pay Range: $25.00 per hour to $27.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains a sterile environment in the clean room, by garbing, cleaning the room, and behaving according to clean room procedures that align with the facilities practices or guidelines. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Practices efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions preparation, equipment and tool operation.
  • Performs all decontamination cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor with high level of consistency, accuracy and reliability. This also includes executing cleanroom cleaning SOP's.
  • Maintains documentation on all activities and frequent (often daily) quality control testing and verifies the efficiency of the work performed.
  • Monitor and maintain the stock of cleanroom garments and cleaning materials when applicable.
  • Monitor and manage contamination sources within the cleanroom environment including materials and personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years housekeeping or cleaning service experience preferred 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedure Documents (SOPs)

Work Environment:  

  • Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing and/or safety equipment.
