Mail Processing Associate – 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00/hour Schedule: 1st Shift Location: Stratford, CT

Looking for a hands-on position with a stable company? We are seeking dependable individuals to join our production team as a Mail Processing Associate. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork, and attention to detail are key.

What You'll Do
  • Perform manual fulfillment of daily mail projects, including matching, inserting, and assembling printed materials.
  • Prepare books, commercial mailings, and specialty mail projects for distribution.
  • Operate light production equipment such as shrink-wrap, polybag, scale counting, and hole-punch machines.
  • Verify finished products meet quality standards before shipment.
  • Sort outgoing mail into the appropriate US Government Client containers, including trays, buckets, and mail sacks.
  • Use barcode scanners and computer systems to verify production counts and complete quality control checks.
  • Ensure all materials are accurately counted and prepared before mailing.
  • Support production goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in mail processing, fulfillment, warehouse, production, manufacturing, or assembly is helpful but not required.
  • Comfortable using computers and barcode scanners.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
