About the Role
We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented Business Systems Associate to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and learning enterprise business systems. The role is designed as a development path into a Business Systems Analyst position.
This is an onsite position based at our North Logan, Utah Headquarters.
What a Day in This Role Looks Like
The Business Process & Systems Associate serves as the quality control specialist for Visionary Homes' business systems and workflows. This role ensures that business processes function as intended, remain accurately documented, and continue to support the needs of the organization as systems evolve.
Working closely with the Business Systems team, department leaders, and end users, this individual will regularly audit system workflows, identify process gaps, validate documentation, and help ensure users are following established best practices. They will also assist with user training, process improvements, and system testing.
Responsibilities:?
Business Process Quality Assurance
  • Serve as the quality control resource for business systems and workflows.
  • Regularly audit business processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related applications to ensure they function as designed.
  • Validate that system workflows remain accurate following software updates, configuration changes, or process improvements.
  • Identify broken workflows, inconsistent processes, missing steps, or areas where users may experience confusion.
  • Document findings and partner with Business Systems Analysts to resolve issues.
  • Verify that implemented changes function correctly before being released to users.

Process Documentation
  • Own and maintain the company's library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow documentation.
  • Observe business processes across departments and document them in clear, easy-to-follow language.
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure documentation reflects current business practices.
  • Keep documentation current as processes and system functionality evolve.
  • Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and user guides that improve consistency across the organization.

Workflow Improvement
  • Work with departments to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Gather business requirements and document current and future-state workflows.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new processes and system enhancements.
  • Support change management efforts by communicating process updates and helping users adapt to new workflows.

Training & User Support
  • Assist in developing and delivering system training for employees across the organization.
  • Create training materials including quick-reference guides, job aids, and step-by-step instructions.
  • Support onboarding of new employees by providing system and workflow training.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for business process questions, escalating technical issues when appropriate.

Professional Development
  • Develop a strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, HomeBuilder One, and other integrated business applications.
  • Shadow Business Systems Analysts to learn system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Gradually assume additional system responsibilities as knowledge and experience grow.

Requirements:?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • 2 years of professional experience. Hiring for curiosity, organization, and follow-through.
  • Any experience with business software, business workflows, structured processes, and documentation is a plus.
  • Attention to detail. You notice when something does not add up.
  • Clear written communication. You can explain a process so anyone can follow it.
  • Organization. You manage multiple workstreams without dropping things.
