Job Description

We are seeking a Process Technician to support production equipment and help keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, assist with process improvements, and work alongside experienced engineering professionals to minimize downtime and maximize product quality. Responsibilities
- Maintain and support production equipment within an assigned manufacturing area.
- Perform equipment start-up checks, calibration, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related equipment issues.
- Update machine settings, operating parameters, and equipment programs as needed.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment issues to leadership.
- Assist with equipment testing, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support equipment installations and production changeovers.
- Perform soldering and minor repairs when required.
- Crosstrain with production teams and provide support during staffing needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum one year of manufacturing, assembly, equipment maintenance, or process technician experience.
- Previous experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Experience with soldering, hand tools, microscopes, or precision measuring equipment is a plus.
- Experience working with automated equipment or programmable machinery is beneficial but not required.
Skills
- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical & Work Environment
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment while wearing required protective garments.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
