Position Summary We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Engineering  to support our continuous improvement initiatives across production and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on opportunity for an individual who enjoys being on the production floor, observing processes firsthand, and identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and material flow. You will work closely with our Operations, Production, and Warehouse teams to enhance operational visibility and drive Lean processes.
Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Documentation

  • Observe and document existing workflows, operational procedures, and business processes.

  • Create and update process maps, flowcharts, trackers, and SOP documentation.

  • Analyze workflow data to identify bottlenecks, delays, and process inefficiencies.

  • Ensure all process documentation is standardized, updated, and properly maintained.

  • Monitor process compliance and support the implementation of standardized workflows.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Collect, organize, and maintain operational and production data from multiple departments.

  • Maintain accurate Excel reports, dashboards, and process tracking sheets.

  • Validate data accuracy and ensure data integrity across various reports and systems.

  • Assist management with data analysis and reporting to support workflow optimization.

Continuous Improvement & Coordination

  • Support process improvement, Lean manufacturing, and operational efficiency projects.

  • Coordinate with production coordinators, warehouse teams, supervisors, and cross-functional departments.

  • Participate in operational review meetings and process discussions.

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.

  • Recommend practical process enhancements to improve productivity and efficiency.


Qualifications & Skills
Education: Currently enrolled in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or Engineering Technology). Registration in a Co-op program is preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is considered a significant asset.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across cross-functional departments.
Mindset: A hands-on mindset with a willingness to spend significant time on the production floor.
Requirements: A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for travel between our Port Coquitlam and Pitt Meadows locations.
