Facility: Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation
Position: Concierge
Location: Brandon, FL
Schedule: Full-Time 11:00am to 7:00pm
Pay Rate: $18-$23/hour

Join Our Team as a Concierge

Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and detail-oriented Concierge to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our facility—helping create a warm, supportive experience for Residents and their families from admission through discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Admissions Department to coordinate new admissions and notify nursing staff of equipment needs (beds, oxygen, etc.).

  • Prepare rooms for incoming Residents by ensuring:

    • Previous belongings are packed and removed

    • Terminal cleaning is completed

    • Beds are made and call bells, lights, and TVs are functioning

  • Assemble and deliver welcome baskets for new Residents.

  • Greet and escort Residents from the lobby to their rooms, providing a positive first impression.

  • Engage with Residents and families, offering support, encouragement, and assistance.

  • Respond to call bells and assist Residents as able; communicate with nursing staff when additional support is needed.

  • Address Resident concerns and complaints in accordance with the Grievance Process.

  • Assist with room transitions (short-term rehab to long-term care).

  • Complete Concierge follow-up documentation within 48 hours of admission and prior to discharge.

  • Provide tours during off-hours or when Admissions staff are unavailable.

  • Email daily progress reports to administrative leadership, noting trends or concerns.

  • Coordinate with laundry services for the return of stored belongings.

  • Prepare and distribute discharge gift bags for Residents returning to the community.

  • Monitor and schedule Resident smoking sessions.

  • Attend in-service training, Resident Council meetings, and required staff meetings.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Requirements
  • Customer service experience required

  • Nursing home or healthcare experience preferred
