Purchase Endodontics is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our patient-focused team. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience for every patient, from their first phone call to their post-treatment follow-up.


The ideal candidate brings a willingness to learn, a kind and caring approach with patients, and a positive attitude.


Responsibilities

  • Verify insurance benefits, calculate patient portions, and determine pre-pay amounts for consultations and surgeries.
  • Accurately enter and manage patient information using EMR systems.
  • Discuss treatment plans and financial responsibilities with patients and collect payments as needed.
  • Answer and manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system with professionalism and warmth.
  • File and follow up on insurance claims, ensuring proper documentation for timely processing.
  • Schedule and confirm clinical and surgical appointments.
  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Prepare patient charts and maintain daily schedules for the clinical team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while multitasking efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous receptionist or front office experience in a dental or endodontic office preferred but not required.
