Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join a team at an automotive manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal production efficiency. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, inspections, and equipment servicing to ensure the continuous operation of manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to identify and address equipment performance issues, and provide technical assistance to resolve problems promptly
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment components
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment issues and improve overall reliability
- Perform equipment calibrations and adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality standards in the manufacturing process
- Assist in the installation, modification, and relocation of manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, and promote a culture of safety among maintenance personnel and other employees
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience with troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment, such as robotics, CNC machines.
- Experience with PLC wiring, 23 vdc Control voltage, 480 vac 3 phase circuits.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including motors, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
