Role: Process Architect

Location: Houston, TX

1+ year contract


Job Description:

         Analyst will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team globally across all product companies groups to develop the PLM capability.

         Will support Process Architect on development of PLM processes; functional capability requirements & specifications across a number of functionalities including but not limited to NPI (New Product Introduction), Part/BOM (Bill of Material) Mgmt., product structuring/configuration, integrated change management, document management, requirements management, MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul), integration with downstream systems, and Project Planning.

         Definition of Blueprint process; Creating the Blueprint processes for PLM capabilities to standardize the across businesses.

         Capture/document the security data access and reporting requirements as part of User Requirements Document (URD)

         Map/document the as-is PLM/P DM and relevant allied processes (i.e., integrations with CAD, Project Planning, MRP/ERP - Materials Management, Manufacturing and Sourcing).

         Model/document the data relationships (data model) and data flows for the current PDM/PLM system and working with to-be PLM solution & process architects to model/document the proposed future state data model.

         Analyze 'as-is' state, identifying metrics to quantify 'as-is' state, collecting and consolidating inputs for business benefits.

         Share industry best practices

         Develop training material

         Be acquainted of different BPM technologies and shall be able to guide team on capability recommendations.

         Good presentation skills

         Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

         Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems with minimum 5 years of experience working on enterprise level PLM/PDM application implementations

         Strong background and functional experience in Engineering and/or Manufacturing functions

         Knowledge of engineering processes related to product definition, BOM structuring, variant configuration, requirements management, CAD data management, enterprise change management, NPI programs, Inquiry to Order & Order to Requisition activities, and service lifecycle solutions

         Strong technic al proven experience in user adoption and configuration of PLM tool

         Understanding and experience in deploying PLM of Model based enterprise environment

         Must possess strong proficiency in MS-Office 2010+ packages

         Clear thinker with ability to develop, communicate and deliver clear strategy and action plans
