Position Announcement
Utah Valley University is seeking three interns to help manage and run social media accounts and digital campaigns for the University Marketing and Communications department.
Summary of Responsibilities
  • Leverage social media management and planning tools to assist with community management, monitor conversations and mentions, organize campaign workflows, and compile benchmarking data to support campaign evaluation.
  • Actively engage with the university social media community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster positive interactions.
  • Support cross-functional Marketing & Communications initiatives by using project management tools to coordinate social media deliverables, manage timelines, and facilitate collaboration across integrated campaigns.
  • Support the creation of original video content that complements written Marketing & Communications content, helping amplify key messages and campaigns across university social media platforms.
  • Under the direction of the current social media intern, contribute to and aid in the content creation process for multiple media platforms.
  • Engage in brainstorming and team meetings to generate ideas for various social media campaigns
  • Liaise with various areas within the University Marketing and Communications department and other departments and programs to support marketing efforts.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of social media ad campaigns to promote university initiatives, events, and programs.
  • Provide support for digital marketing campaigns, including coordinating assets, tracking performance, and contributing insights for improvement.
