Location: Venice Gastroenterology, LLC - Venice, Florida

Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procedure Scheduler to join our team. The Procedure Scheduler will be responsible for efficiently coordinating all aspects of patient procedures within our gastroenterology office. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong commitment to patient care.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Procedure Scheduler to join our team and support our mission.


Essential Duties:

  • Schedule patient appointments for gastrointestinal procedures, including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and other diagnostic tests
  • Coordinate with patients, physicians, and medical staff to ensure accurate scheduling and preparation for procedures
  • Communicate procedural instructions, including preparation and dietary guidelines, to patients in a clear and concise manner
  • Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments and procedure details in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Address patient inquiries and aid with scheduling changes or cancellations as needed
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient flow within the office
  • Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and provide pre-procedure instructions
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by management
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Physical Demands
